    FEMA Appeal Templates

If you received a FEMA letter requesting more information or you did not receive enough financial help, you have the right to appeal within 60 days. Read your FEMA letter closely and it will detail what information may have been missing.

This page has free templates and guides to help you write a strong appeal letter to FEMA. Whether you need help asking for more money for repairs, replacing essential personal property, or showing you lived in or owned the disaster-damaged home, these resources can make the process easier. You can fill in your own information and send the appeal letter and supporting documents to FEMA asking them to take another look at your situation.

You can also contact the Disaster Response Team for assistance at 1-844-478-0099 for questions about these forms or to see if you are eligible for assistance or if there is a FEMA Appeal Clinic in a nearby location.
