PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - John Rosenberg has many awards hanging on his walls, and two weeks ago he received another one.
Rosenberg, who lives in Prestonsburg, was honored at the Fourth Annual Muhammad Ali awards.
He received the Kentucky Humanitarian award, and was only one of 11 people honored.

Attorney Ned Pillersdorf says notices are being sent out to more than 1,900 former clients, asking for medical records within 30 days.
Pillersdorf says most of his clients are unaware of how to respond to the record request. He says if they send their medical records within 30 days, they may not have to have a hearing regarding their benefits.

CHARLESTON – Legal Aid of West Virginia is working to help former clients of Eric C. Conn, the Kentucky attorney who is accused of helping obtain disability benefits for people who might not have actually qualified for them.
As investigators continue to determine which cases were fraudulent and which were not, the Social Security office has told many of Conn’s clients they may lose their Social Security benefits, according to Legal Aid of West Virginia.
The omnibus spending bill passed by Congress on Thursday includes not only funding for the Legal Services Corporation but a raise as well.
According to a press release from the American Bar Association, the legislation provides $410 million to LSC for fiscal year 2018. This is $25 million increase in the funding level from the last two fiscal years and the highest appropriation since 2010.
