HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - The Kentucky River Area Development District is hosting meetings starting Thursday regarding flood recovery in Breathitt, Knott, Letcher and Perry Counties.
KRADD Executive Director Michelle Allen said they want to hear from people directly impacted by the flood.
“We want to hear all of the needs of the community because there may be things out there that organizations like us or even local governments do not realize people still need,” she said.
This Fact Sheet summarizes public schools’ obligations under Section 504 to:
• Provide a free appropriate public Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
• Make reasonable modifications to disciplinary policies for students with disabilities;
• Administer student discipline in a nondiscriminatory based behavior.
Kentucky anti-bullying laws include the following definition of bullying:
“Bullying” means any unwanted verbal, physical, or social behavior among students that involves a real or perceived power imbalance and is repeated or has the potential to be repeated:
1. That occurs on school premises, on school-sponsored transportation, or at a school-sponsored event; or
2. That disrupts the education process.
Ky. Rev. Stat. § 158.148 (2016)
The following is an overview of factors and documentation taken into consideration for vehicle claims.

Comprehensive policies usually pay for storm-related damage to a car. Federal disaster assistance may help fill the gaps for those whose coverage does not pay for any or all storm-related damage costs.

Kentucky Law (KRS 383.300) protects survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking who have protective orders AND entered into or renewed a lease on or after June 29, 2017.

The online Kentucky Child/Adult Protective Services Reporting System is available to report non-emergency situations that do not require an immediate response from DCBS staff.
