The website also features a members-only help center that includes password-protected resources and a “Knowledge Bank” of experienced disaster legal aid attorneys. Resources for FEMA Appeal

  1. The Contractor Estimate Guide outlines the major home repairs FEMA generally takes into consideration. You can provide this guide to whatever contractor is able to give you an estimate of the work needed to fix your home to a safe, sanitary, and livable condition (including mold remediation).
  2. The Contractor Estimate Table is an example of what information FEMA requests be included in the estimate (itemized materials, costs, etc.).
  3. The Personal Property Inventory Guide is a sample list of items that may have been damaged/destroyed due to the flood/heavy rain.
  4. The Personal Property List is helpful to organize the damaged/destroyed items.
