Eviction Information
In this video, we walk you through how to use an online tool created by Kentucky Equal Justice Center to create a letter and declaration for your landlord to protect yourself from eviction. Advocacy Director Evan Smith gives renters the information they need to know on the new eviction moratorium from the Centers for Disease Control.
Attorneys Charnel Burton, Kristie Goff, and Kirsten Clancy will answer your questions about P-EBT, EBT, and SNAP and tell you the type of legal services AppalReD Legal Aid offers. We'll include the do’s and don'ts of applying for, keeping, and using benefits.
We'll also give information on trafficking cases; what trafficking is, penalties for trafficking, and the process for challenging an allegation of trafficking.
