(WYMT) -AppalReD Legal Aid is hosting free legal assistance clinics offering estate planning and title clearing services.

Staff will help attendees draft estate plans, including last wills and testaments, power of attorney documents, living wills, and funeral planing declarations.

The Hazard clinic will be held March 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Passport Vital Minor Healthcare Office, 124 Grandview Plaza, Hazard, Kentucky 41701.

The Pikeville clinic will be held April 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pike County Public Library, 126 Lee Avenue, Pikeville, Kentucky 41501.

AppalReD Legal Aid said additional clinics are planned. Those unable to attend a clinic can call to schedule a one-on-one meeting.

They recommend calling the disaster intake hotline at 1-844-478-0099 to apply for services and pre-register for a clinic to secure a guaranteed spot with a volunteer attorney. All services are free for eligible applicants.
