It can be very stressful when you owe debts that you can’t pay. However, there are laws that protect you and some of your property from your creditors.
Bankruptcy is a federal court process to help people get a fresh financial start. It works by getting rid of debt they can’t manage or making arrangements to repay unmanageable debt. This is called “discharging debt.” The person filing for bankruptcy is called the ‘debtor’ and the people or businesses owed money to are called ‘creditors.’
The following is an overview of factors and documentation taken into consideration for vehicle claims.

AppalReD attorneys will be on site to assist existing clients and as many new clients as possible. Following natural disasters, scammers often attempt to take advantage of victims. The Kentucky Attorney General's website has more information detailing some of the most common natural disaster scams as well as tips to avoid becoming a victim of natural disaster fraud. Common scams following a natural disaster include price gouging, construction and repair scams, identity theft, impersonation of relief agencies or FEMA, and loan scams.
